DETECTIVE PIKACHU POKEMON CARDS! Exclusive "Case Files," GX Cards, and More
Nintendo has announced brand new Detective Pikachu Pokemon TCG Products! Detective Pikachu will launch as its very own sub-set of Pokemon cards, featuring exclusive “Case Files” and collector’s tins. This set will feature the real-life adaptations of our favorite Pokemon and will include 26 different cards.

According to The Pokemon Company’s recent article, Pokemon such as Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Jigglypuff, and Detective Pikachu will all depicted as CGI creations in this new set. This leads me to assume that other Pokemon we’ve seen in the Detective Pikachu trailer such as Mr. Mime, Psyduck, and Dodrio may also get their debut.
Pokemon also plans to release other Detective Pikachu merch leading up to the movie release, including a Detective Hat with Pikachu ears and buildable figures.
The Detective Pikachu movie hits theaters on May 10th, so this gives us plenty of time to check out the new cards merch and get a feel for what the future of Pokemon holds in store.
